Vanessa Paradis - Une nuit à Versailles 2010 DVD9 FR

During the summer of 2010, Vanessa Paradis has proposed a series of 20 acoustic shows in France: a true event! For the first time, his greatest songs, "Joe le Taxi " to "Divine Romance" were revisited with 8 acoustic musicians including a string quartet. Vanessa Paradis and Barclay have therefore decided to record and film one of two concerts at the Royal Opera of Versailles on 11 and 12 July. This concert is another way of saying that the songs of Vanessa we have become familiar. Songs whose timelessness is now enhanced by the new acoustic arrangements signed by Albin: "The idea was to offer a new reading Vanessa's orchestral songs, a version timeless, sleek and sensual, with fine instruments and a string quartet .. For Vanessa listen more sensitive and moving again. "This project allows for a live album but also a film showing the entire concert from 12/07 to Versailles. The film, directed by Francis Goetghebeur (including the remarkable film director Alain Chamfort live "Impromptu in Luxembourg Gardens"), is therefore offering a very personal view of the presence - as perfect - Vanessa and her band in a mythical, both solar and mysterious.
